I'm Kylie H., the breeder behind DoReMi ACDs located in Anaheim, CA. I breed top-quality Australian Cattle Dogs from health-tested and titled parents for show, sport, work, or loving companions! My ultimate goal is to produce well-structured, healthy and stable canines that can excel within all performance venues.
Q. & A. with Kylie
Why did you start breeding?
I was lucky to meet some fantastic people at the local dog shows who gave me a leg up into the breeding world. I started breeding simply because I strongly believe the general public deserves to be able to access well bred purpose bred purebred dog and we really don’t have enough nice ones available.
What makes your program special?
My goal is genuinely to have it all - a structurally correct, genetically healthy working dog. I don’t believe in cutting corners and want a fully balanced animal in type, temperament, health, and function. I love the sass and the brilliance of ACDs, always thinking and always two steps ahead. They’re goofy and silly but dedicated and driven at the same time.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
