I'm Morgain D., the breeder behind Dutton's Show Me Farms located in Oronogo, MO. My focus is on producing quality puppies to be companions, show dogs, and working dogs. When selecting my dogs I am looking at conformation, temperament, and health to make sure I am providing the best puppies for you and your family. I believe I am able to give each little pup the very best chance to reach its potential, express its best character, and bring forth its greatest gifts in the relationship with itself and to its family.

Why did you start breeding?
I had a Heeler with a wonderful working temperament so I decided to breed with that personality and ability in mind. I have loved and raised Heelers for 5 years and my last Heeler litter was raised in 2021. I have now switched my focus to raising & showing Miniature Australian Shepherds. I have found that they are loving and loyal family dogs and are more accepting of guest than our heelers were.What makes your program special?
With my experience as a dog trainer, I have a lot to offer my puppies. I handle my puppies daily, exposing them to our household environment, and I also start potty and kennel training with each of them. When you get a puppy from me, you are not just buying a puppy, you are gaining a family member. I love to keep in touch with all of my buyers so that I can see how our pups grow and excel over the years!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, red merle, red, and black. Australian Cattle Dog puppies include red speckled, red mottled, blue speckled, and blue mottled. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Morgain partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

After taking time off from showing, she is really starting to come back into herself and show more each time out. • Saturday: 1st Place & Winners Bitch 🏆 • Sunday: 1st Place & Reserve Winners Bitch 🥈 We are incredibly proud of this Bred-By girl and love seeing her improve with each show! ⸻ ✨ Waylon (4–6 Month Beginner Puppy) Waylon made his show debut this weekend and absolutely loved being the center of attention! This early training program begins building: • Crate training • Potty training foundations • Loose leash walking • Sit, down & place • Name recognition & engagement Early structure helps create a smoother transition into your home by building calmness, confidence, and clear communication. Program update on 15 Nov 2025 •…We place puppies using deposit pick order rather than choosing individual puppies at birth. This ensures each family is matched with the puppy whose temperament best fits their lifestyle. Early color-based selections often lead to mismatches because personalities don’t fully develop until 6–7 weeks. By using a pick-order system, we’re able to complete daily observations and a full temperament evaluation before guiding families to the most suitable puppies. Buyers still get to choose — but with informed, data-backed recommendations. This process is fair, transparent, and reduces the chance of behavioral mismatches or returns. While it does require waiting a little longer to know which puppy is yours, it results in a happier, more confident puppy and a much better long-term fit.

Program update on 22 Apr 2025 •…Families! Your pups go home from me microchipped with a FiNano chip. It is 100% FREE and super quick (literally 90 seconds) to register that chip in your name! I have quite a few puppies not in my home that are microchipped solely in my name. All you need to do is open your puppy’s folder pull out their puppy medical sheet and your yellow ID card is stapled to the paper, follow the instructions OR you can make an account and enter your puppy’s microchip number and request for it to be transferred to you! I will get an email that I check every evening and will get those chips transferred. Your information being current on that pup’s microchip is going to help get them reunited to you quickly in the event they get lost AND ITS FREE!! Program update on 23 Mar 2025 •…We went to ASDR Nationals 3/20-22/25, we took our upcoming bred by girls Ruby & Winter who each placed 3rd in their classes, and 2 of our stud dogs Gatlin & Tate, both boys won their classes, Gatlin earned his 4th Champion title, and Tate won his Supreme Grand Elite title in the champion male class. We are very proud of how our 4 dogs did this weekend. ❤️❤️

Litter update on 26 Jan 2025 •…The Andy Griffith crew experienced their first baths today, while only a few complained and were dramatic during the bath they all did well, but as you can see a few (Gomer mainly 😂) were NOT happy with me over the bath afterwards. We have been working on potty training with fake grass and it is going VERY well, and the puppy crates have been introduced to the playpen for them to start checking out. Come Monday during the playpen clean up they will start being locked in the crates (3-5 times a day) to start getting associated with them, and by 7 weeks they will be sleeping in them with the doors closed at night.

Ruby is a sweet, funny Bred-By girl from Ivy & Walker’s 2023 litter. She is genetically clear across the board and has been specifically tested for NAD & HU (dam not tested) and is clear. Ruby has excellent health clearances with OFA Excellent hips, Normal elbows, and Normal eyes, giving us confidence in both her structure and long-term soundness. She is currently being shown in both ASDR and AKC and continues to gain confidence and improve with each outing. Most recently: • Saturday: 1st Place & Winners Bitch 🏆 • Sunday: 1st Place & Reserve Winners Bitch 🥈 Ruby stands 13.5” tall and is a lovely representation of the breed, with a kind temperament, playful personality, and a strong desire to please. She absolutely adores our son (born June 2025) and has a naturally gentle, affectionate nature with children.
