Why did you start breeding?
It all started with my first Aussie. I fell in love with her energy, trainability, and personality. I wanted to learn everything I could about the breed and became inspired to contribute through responsible breeding. I began my small breeding program with the goal of continuing to learn and improve with each generation.What makes your program special?
Even though my program is small and still growing, every dog and puppy receives individual attention, love, and care in my home. I take pride in being hands on from early socialization to matching each puppy with the right home to ensure they have the best start possible.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Jessica partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Parent health testing

Four Peaks Aussies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Australian Shepherds.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel, DNA Coat/Trait Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
