I'm BRIGITTE D., the breeder behind Fox Hill Farm & K9 located in Amesbury, MA. We are a small family in-home breeder who prioritize health & temperament tested dogs. Our cattle dogs tend to be on the smaller side. We own a small private horse farm and training facility. While we cherish all of our animals, we are especially passionate about our puppies!

Why did you start breeding?
I have been training and handling dogs since I was 16. I learned early on about the importance of selective breeding and prioritizing quality traits. Temperament & health are paramount!What makes your program special?
We are unique in that we have many years of not only breeding, but training dogs from start to finish. We train family pets, service dogs, competition dogs and police dogs. We understand the importance of a well bred dog as it always comes down to top genetics.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black and yellow. Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We love our Hal!! Highly recommend Fox Hill Farm & K9. Our new English Lab puppy, now 10 weeks is gorgeous, and everyone he meets says so. He was healthy and clean, when we went to pick him up! Brigitte's facility at FHF is quite impressive. She was quick to respond to any questions, and the process was so easy. I was also on a mission, knew what I wanted. Our vet thought Hal was striking!
