I'm Audrey H., the breeder behind G'day Mates Cattle Dogs located in Raymond, OH. Our dogs are bred for conformation, temperament, instinct, and drive. We are always happy to see our dogs thrive in happy homes whether they are show, performance or pet.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love the majesty of a working animal. I will admit, I love the competition and comradery of animal sports.
  • What makes your program special?

    I currently have 2 ACDs, bred by me who have points toward their championship, but have also produced a Best in Specialty Show/2 X Best of Opposite Sex at a Specialty Show Grand Champion, a Grand Champion Silver, multiple Grand Champions, Multiple Champions and the best is yet to come. My breeding stock is chosen for conformation, temperament, instinct, type and of course biddability.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
