I'm Athena G., the breeder behind Goodman/Pogue Boxer Babies located in Pawnee, OK. Our dogs live in the country on 20 acres, which they have access to an acre of, but they prefer being in our house. We love our dogs and enjoy finding happy forever homes for each of them.

Why did you start breeding?
Previously my family owned one Boxer when I was a child and I loved her, but she got stolen out of our yard and we were heartbroken, ever since I wanted another. My hubby got me my first AKC Boxer while I was pregnant with my daughter because I wanted a companion to grow up with her. After my daughter was born, we wanted to get our male a playmate, and we've bred babies ever since.What makes your program special?
Not every breeder will build a temperature-controlled weaning house and run for their momma's as we have. We only have one male with 2 breeding females, we have the ability to keep our female's separated from our male if we don't want them breeding during a heat cycle. We make sure all of our dogs are health checked every 6 months to make sure there are no health issues.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Athena
Athena has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and $300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
