I'm Amy Rose A., the breeder behind Graceful Acres located in Spencer, TN. We raise our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in our home on a small farm in beautiful Spencer, TN. Centrally located in Middle Tennessee between Nashville, Knoxville & Chattanooga! We are extremely passionate about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed and our focus is always on healthy puppies with exceptional temperaments and personalities. We complete all breed recommended health testing on our dogs and all of our dogs have their CHIC certification prior to ever being bred! Temperament is extremely important to us as we want everyone to love the breed as we do! Our puppies are all micro-chipped, and we remain as a permanent contact on their chips for their entire lives. This ensures that our Cavaliers will never be homeless or abandoned in a shelter, as our fur-babies will always have a home here with us. We will ALWAYS take any of our fur-babies back for any reason, at any time. We loved them first and we do not stop loving our babies when they leave us. We are always available to our puppy families for any questions or concerns throughout the lifetime of their beloved pet. We love nothing more than receiving pictures of our past puppies and seeing them loved and spoiled in their new forever homes.
Q. & A. with Amy Rose
Why did you start breeding?
I have been an animal lover ever since I can remember. When I was young, living at home with my parents, I would deliberately go out searching for lost or abandoned pets as often as I could. I would bring them home where I would love and care for them until I was able to find the perfect homes for them (if I couldn’t convince my parent’s to let me keep just one more.) I have also rescued and fostered many animals as an adult and I will always help any animal that I can. I have always enjoyed helping bring people and pets together!
What makes your program special?
We are extremely passionate about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed and our focus is always on healthy puppies with exceptional temperaments. We complete all breed recommended health testing on our dogs and all of our dogs have their CHIC certifications! Temperament is extremely important to us. Regardless of the amount of time, money or energy we may have invested into a Cavalier, if they do not meet our high standards for temperament and demeanor, they are simply never bred and are retired as our spoiled pets. We wouldn’t be doing the breed or any potential owners a favor by breeding a dog merely because we own them. We want everyone to love the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed as we do!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
