I'm Echo H., the breeder behind Grit ‘n’ Grace Ranch located in Atwood, KS. Our heelers are raised as part of everyday life here, with daily handling, time around kids, livestock, and plenty of normal ranch activity. We focus on health, temperament, and raising puppies that can fit both working and companion homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding to share a breed I truly believe in. These dogs are steady, smart, and adaptable—equally at home working hard or living life by your side. Most people don’t know they need this dog… until they have one. Once people have one, they understand why they’re so hard to be without. Their loyalty runs deep, and that’s something worth preserving.What makes your program special?
Our focus is raising quality mini heelers that can fit real life—whether that means ranch work, companionship, or both. We enjoy staying connected with our puppy families and seeing how the dogs grow over time. Many of our older dogs stay here and retire right where they were raised.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red speckled, red mottled, blue mottled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Echo
Echo has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Echo partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price
“Vet check, current vaccinations, routine deworming, and a puppy tote are included. Pricing may vary based on litter, markings, and individual puppy. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a particular puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
