I'm Roxane N., the breeder behind Hegerox located in Scotch Plains, NJ. I am a lifelong boxer lover that is passionate about the preservation of healthy boxers that meet the standard. I grew up with boxers, my grandparents bred and showed them, and I am so grateful that my children now get this experience. Grateful to Cheryl Cates and Kim Dye for the mentorship.
Q. & A. with Roxane
Why did you start breeding?
Growing up around my grandparents’ show dogs, I always appreciated a well-bred boxer. I am passionate about the boxer breed and want to do a small part in contributing to breed preservation. Looking forward to this next adventure and eagerly learning everything I can to give our puppies the best start in life.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies will be raised in our family home with our two children Henry, age 8 and George, almost 3. Our dam Millie is bred by and co-owned with Cheryl Cates of Encore Boxers. Cheryl is a truly legendary boxer breeder who is passionate about producing healthy boxers that meet the standards for conformation and temperament and we are so grateful to her, along with stud owners Jim and Kim Dye.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
