I'm Krissy H., the breeder behind Hilltop Heelers located in Morgantown, WV. Our high-quality puppies are the result of extensive research and thorough care for our outstanding dogs and puppies. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Krissy
Why did you start breeding?
By accident. My male (Jarvis) decided to be a gigalo before I could get my girls fixed. NO joke, I had Ada fully dressed and Jarvis in pants for doggies, went to dress Speedy. Came out and Jar and Ada was tied.
Jarvis got Rose before I even knew she was in heat.
And that started my breeding. So if you haven't guessed it these are my first litters of many to come (just not at same time).
What makes your program special?
We take pride in our dogs and puppies. All are treated like family and spoilt rotten (I even make their meals sometimes). There is no puppy that will leave my home with out proper vetting, UTD shots and microchipped. I am with them when they are born and hope to be able to be part of their lives as long as we live (social media). I want to keep up with the health and well being of all my pups. I also request that at any given time/reason you need to rehome one of our pups you contact me first, no questions asked.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
