HotDiggetyDogs

Breeder of Dalmatians

Meet the breeder

I'm HotDiggetyDogs, the breeder behind Hot Diggety Dogs LLC located in Burley, ID. Our pups are born inside our home and are exposed to other animals, different ages of people and are cuddled regularly. The parents are Embark tested and screened for multiple genetic issues. We use this process in our attempt to better select our breeding dogs for healthier pups for your home.

Q. & A. with HotDiggetyDogs

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the animals and saw such potential to better the breed's genetic issues with genetic testing. I am excited to help to be a part of that improvement. I was a foster home to about 50 children and 2 sons of my own as a single mom, and now I can continue using my nurturing skills and deep love for animals to raise and improve the health of future pups and enjoy the beautiful traits the breed offers with the help of my husband.
  • What makes your program special?

We love and devote all our time to these animals. We are blessed to be doing something we love and that serves a greater purpose and put a lot of work into our dogs. Exposing them to multiple outdoor experiences, noises, children, farm animals, and other indoor and outdoor pets. We work hard to potty train and give them exposure to as many things as we can.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and black, white and orange, white, liver and tan, white black and tan, white and liver brown, and white and lemon. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
