Meet the breeder

I'm Ayana R., the breeder behind Impact 3rd Australian Cattle Dogs located in Marana, AZ. Our dogs are bred for the ability to perform and meet all health demands! We breed for the great pet & sporting dogs even potential Showbred dogs of tomorrow, and hope to continue to in the far future! We breed AKC & ASDR registered Australian Cattle Dogs, with OFA health testing completed!

Q. & A. with Ayana

  • Why did you start breeding?

I happen to see this breed for the first time in 2020, and my first experience with them was watching them work stock up close, and do amazingly well at it. I got interested and decided to meet a few of them personally and instantly fell in love with their workability and personalities! I wanted to own and breed those same dogs I first witnessed and fell in love with!
  • What makes your program special?

I want to make my breeding program be able to cater in all aspects, not just working. For breedings I look at both parents temperaments, their families temperaments and accomplishments in consideration before decidedly choosing they will do well! The goal is to breed for a purpose in mind, a job in mind, and so when people come to look for a dog they'll find one here for that purpose!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red mottled, red speckled, blue mottled, blue speckled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Ayana was knowledgeable and engaging! She reached out and informed me of additional options she had when the original dog we were interested in became reserved and that’s how we found our Sage!! She has continued to reach out for updates and you can tell she cares for and loves her dogs deeply!!

Working with Ayana was top notch! Her commitment to the dogs and breed standard is really amazing. From before our puppy was even bred I could tell she is very selective regarding where her dogs will be homed trying to make as most certain as possible that her pups found safe & happy forever homes. The fact that in her contracts there is a requirements that puppy purchasers must notify her 1st in the event that they can no longer keep one of her dogs (no matter how old or how many years they have had the dog) this speaks to her care of her animals. Ayana keeps in frequent communication during pregnancy and even a some during the birth process (understandably reserving her time and attention to mom & pups). After the pups arrivals she really worked with me to see which puppy might fit with our family the best. She monitored the pups while they grew and matured and made her recommendations accordingly. Ayana made sure all pups were healthy and stimulated appropriately. Ayana set me up with a wonderful & responsible pet transportation service to have our 11 week old puppy delivered from AZ to CA. Throughout every step of the way from pre-breeding through check-ins after delivery what stands out is Ayana’s commitment to the dogs health and happiness. I will definitely get another puppy from Impact in the comings years and I recommend getting your future pup from here as well.

Amazing! They was very helpful through the adoption process, and always were honest with any questions. Plus the consistent pictures when going through milestones for the puppies.
