I'm Jo Angela S., the breeder behind Indigojos Australian Cattle Dogs located in China Grove, NC. Behind every litter of puppies I have dedicated my time & love to every puppy from the moment of birth to everyday interactions with the litter.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding was a natural next step in my obsession with dogs, I bred my 1st litter of AKC Siberain Huskies at the age of 15. I went to every dog show I could and dreamed of one day breeding and showing my own dogs. I believe quality is more important than quantity, and prefer the more one on one interaction and bond that I can form with a small kennel of dogs that are 1st & foremost my personal pets

  • What makes your program special?

    I have been professionally grooming dogs since 1984. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance coming from 20yr with Cattle Dogs exclusively, and All breeds in general, I am dedicated to giving you the best start possible when adding one of these tenacious pups to your family. I love what I do and want to insure that my puppies succeed with whatever goals you set forth in there future.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red speckled, blue mottled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jo Angela

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,475 - $2,475 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“$1,975 + is for LIMITED registration and $2,975 is for FULL registration {to be determined} All pups are sold as LIMITED registration for pet homes. Deposit is taken upon choosing Puppy. The deposit does go towards the purchase price with the remainder of the price to be paid in full upon pick up , Or if flown Paid in FULL 7 days before flight. I will send Good Dog request for Deposit.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Dentition, Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), DNA Coat/Trait Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I grew up with a Blue Heeler while in high school and it has been a dream to get one as a husband and father to five kids.
