This was our first experience with Good Dog. Finding the perfect pooch was more streamlined than I have experienced using other platforms. While there were a few litters to choose from nationwide (within a reasonable driving distance), Institute Australian Cattle Dogs had a detailed listing that grabbed my attention. I initially sent a message through the app to inquire about one pup, but gave Dixie an overview of the temperament we sought, and described our home setting of a small hobby farm with livestock. We turned our discussion to one lively female, from a breeding between the sire Ratchet and dam Brandy. Dixie's instincts were spot on! Dixie was highly accommodating in trying to set up a time when we could meet the pup, The payment process was super simple and highly secure, and the entire transaction went smoothly. Even after the sale, Dixie gladly fields questions. She truly cares about where her pups wind up, and that love shines through with the little touches like the goodie bag our puppy came home with (containing a ball, toys, and a blanket with the mother Brandy's and littermates' scents).

My experience with Institute Australian Cattle Dogs was fantastic. From the moment I wanted one of their puppies they were extremely responsive with questions. They even sent pictures so I could see his growth. I asked if they would meet me at the airport to deliver the puppy. They agreed. They were on time and even sent the puppy home with a few goodies like a blanket scented like mom, the food he was eating and a few other things. They even kept the paperwork nicely organized.

Working with Institute Australian Cattle Dogs was a fantastic experience. Dixie was very responsive to all my questions and kept me updated throughout the new puppy parent journey from when I selected little Indy to when I picked her up. The weekly photos to see how much Indy had grown was something I looked forward to every week! I ended up driving to pick Indy up. The drive there was very straightforward until the end where it felt like you were on someone’s driveway but it was listed as a road, but Dixie was there holding little Indy right when I arrived and it was great to see the other blue heelers there and how happy they were. Dixie provided up to date paperwork and a little goodie bag with things for Indy. Within the first few days I went to the vet to make sure she was all up-to-date on vaccines and everything and they confirmed she was a healthy and happy pup. Indy is almost 5 months now and I can’t imagine life without her. She finished all her puppy vaccinations and the vet is impressed with her temperament and how beautiful she is. Really happy with my choice and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
