We had an outstanding experience working with April Jenks at Jenks’s Boxers. From start to finish, the process was seamless, well-organized, and professional. April is an excellent communicator—she consistently kept us informed on our Boxer pup’s health, wellness, development, and socialization. Between the time we selected our puppy, placed our deposit, and picked her up three weeks later, April regularly shared photos and videos, which made the entire experience even more special and reassuring. Coordination for pickup was smooth and clearly communicated, and it was evident throughout that April runs a thoughtful, responsible breeding program. She is knowledgeable, transparent about health testing, and genuinely committed to the betterment of the Boxer breed—which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Our female Boxer pup is thriving—she’s silly, playful, cuddly, a little feisty, and absolutely perfect for our family. I would not hesitate to work with April again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Boxer puppy. April, we are grateful to you and your family for allowing us the opportunity to adopt from your program. I hope our paths continue to cross in the future.

First if all, my puppy is perfection! She is an absolute gem of an addition to my family. Calm, confident, cuddly, and playful, she is a genuine balance of every trait you want in a pup. I’ve had boxers all my life, and she is truly special. April was wonderful to work with, and authentic in each interaction. She didn’t pose the puppies or filter/light them in any altered way, which (in my opinion) offered transparency and heart. She sent me a candid picture in their natural element each time I asked, and gave me any and all information about my pup’s parents. While I will continue to donate to many, many rescue organizations, I fully support April if you are looking to welcome a boxer puppy into your family.

April was so amazing to work with. She provided me with multiple updates and upon delivery of my puppy so agreed to meet me 1/2 way. I would recommend her to any family looking for a boxer puppy. She’s reached out several times to check on us. This wasn’t just a business transaction she is a reputable and responsible breeder.

April was amazing. I contacted her sharing stories of my previous boxer telling her what I was looking for, sharing the name of the puppy I was looking for and the look and characteristics of what I was looking for. She gave me updates as to when litters were due, sent me photos and described the parents and was very flexible as to my choices. I said I wanted a puppy to match the name “Ripley”, and wanted a new best friend, a flashy fawn with a strong personality, a little sassy, a little hyper, playful, but loyal, loving, clingy, and a licker… I wasn’t planning to get a puppy so soon after my last boxer passed away a year ago, but was so lonely and started looking and was not happy with several of the breeders and was also not having luck trying to adopt. I felt April was very thorough and I was confident the parents were health checked and she was an experienced breeder. She also said if I changed my mind, it was not a problem, or if there was not my “Ripley” in one of the litters I could switch or wait for a later liter. Ironically two of her dogs gave birth the same day. When she held “Ripley” up, shortly after she was born, I knew she was the one. I had never picked a dog without first going in person, but I saw her and just knew. She sent some photos a few days later and about a week or so later I finally said I think she’s my Ripley. She sent me photos and videos weekly and replied to any questions I had, I FaceTimed. She was kind enough to drop her off a couple days ago and this puppy literally has been attached to me since. We’re inseparable. She’s literally everything I asked for.
