  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

First if all, my puppy is perfection! She is an absolute gem of an addition to my family. Calm, confident, cuddly, and playful, she is a genuine balance of every trait you want in a pup. I’ve had boxers all my life, and she is truly special. April was wonderful to work with, and authentic in each interaction. She didn’t pose the puppies or filter/light them in any altered way, which (in my opinion) offered transparency and heart. She sent me a candid picture in their natural element each time I asked, and gave me any and all information about my pup’s parents. While I will continue to donate to many, many rescue organizations, I fully support April if you are looking to welcome a boxer puppy into your family.

April was amazing. I contacted her sharing stories of my previous boxer telling her what I was looking for, sharing the name of the puppy I was looking for and the look and characteristics of what I was looking for. She gave me updates as to when litters were due, sent me photos and described the parents and was very flexible as to my choices. I said I wanted a puppy to match the name “Ripley”, and wanted a new best friend, a flashy fawn with a strong personality, a little sassy, a little hyper, playful, but loyal, loving, clingy, and a licker… I wasn’t planning to get a puppy so soon after my last boxer passed away a year ago, but was so lonely and started looking and was not happy with several of the breeders and was also not having luck trying to adopt. I felt April was very thorough and I was confident the parents were health checked and she was an experienced breeder. She also said if I changed my mind, it was not a problem, or if there was not my “Ripley” in one of the litters I could switch or wait for a later liter. Ironically two of her dogs gave birth the same day. When she held “Ripley” up, shortly after she was born, I knew she was the one. I had never picked a dog without first going in person, but I saw her and just knew. She sent some photos a few days later and about a week or so later I finally said I think she’s my Ripley. She sent me photos and videos weekly and replied to any questions I had, I FaceTimed. She was kind enough to drop her off a couple days ago and this puppy literally has been attached to me since. We’re inseparable. She’s literally everything I asked for.
