I'm Julie P., the breeder behind JP Kennels, LLC located in Douglass, KS. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

Why did you start breeding?
I was mentored by Peggy at Duckcreek Labradors years before I started breeding. Duckcreek had a great reputation. They have since retired their program after many years of breeding, however still have presence in my program and are there to answer any questions I have.What makes your program special?
We focus on improvement lines and health of our puppies. Our Dams whelp a max of 5 litters then retire out while still young and healthy!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver, charcoal, yellow, black, chocolate, fox red, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
