Meet the breeder

I'm Jerrica B., the breeder behind Kickin Rooster AKC Boxers located in Alpine, NY. We are a holistically minded breeder (35 years experience) of health tested part/full European Boxers. We are active in performance sports and are just getting back to conformation events post-Covid. We breed for temperament, health, and conformation. We seek to offset faults and improve each generation. Our puppies would do well in show, performance, & active pet homes.

Q. & A. with Jerrica

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have been around Boxers my entire life. I have over 35 years of experience with this breed and raising them. My father raised them when I was growing up. That is how I developed my love for this breed. Boxers are wonderful family dogs and they have a lot to offer a family that can meet their training and energy needs. They are very loyal and loving to their family. It’s my goal to place them in the best homes!
  • What makes your program special?

We are deeply committed to the quality and ethics of our program. We look closely at health, temperament, and conformation when breeding. We seek to offset faults, improve offspring, and limit toxic exposures as much as possible to hopefully add longevity. We care about the homes where we place our puppies and want to ensure the best fit for puppies and families. Proper socialization, early neurological stimuli, unique play, potty/crate training, puppy culture enrichment activities and challenges, Natural/holistic rearing, vet checks, lifetime breeder support, return to breeder clause, private facebook group for littermates, full contract, etc. are what our puppies and their families find with us as their breeder.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
