I'm Kristan H., the breeder behind KJ Kennels of NJ located in Franklinville, NJ. We breed Dachshunds because they are truly one-of-a-kind dogs -- full of character, loyalty, and joy. We take pride in raising healthy, well-socialized Dachshunds. Our goal is to share everything we love about this amazing breed with families who will cherish them as much as we do.

Why did you start breeding?
I'm fulfilling my Mom's dream of breeding Dachshunds and John's Mom was a breeder of another breed. We want to continue in our Moms' footsteps.What makes your program special?

Getting a puppy from Kristan
Kristan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first round of puppy vaccinations, deworming, vet health cert, microchip, and the litter is ACA registered. Deposits are nonrefundable.”

Kristan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
