I'm Willard A., the breeder behind Knucklez Kids located in Red Rock, AZ. All of our dogs are AKC registered and have had the genetic testing for any common issues. We include a health guarantee contract for any common issues up to 2 years and stand by our dogs as being healthy, smart, and amazing companions for you and your family. We follow our puppies for life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Once we got a male/female combo back in 1990/91, my mom decided every one of my siblings, extended family, and other families in Tucson needed a Boston, so we started breeding Knucklez and Patsy in 1993. My siblings and I grew up breeding with our mother until her passing in 2021. Since then my sister, Sam of Cortes Boston Terriers and I have continued our family legacy of Bostons to all

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised with multiple other dogs and children aged 2-15, constantly handling them from week 2 until they go home. They are exposed to loud noises/basic home cleaning equipment, and multiple people coming and going. They also are constantly told not to bite and redirected to toys. We use puppy pads to train them to potty in specific areas, making outdoor potty training easier

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include seal brindle and white, seal and white, and brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    My experience with Willard and Knucklez Kids was exceptional. I saw a puppy on the Good Dog site and fell in love with her. The breeder, Knuckles Kids was located about 60 miles from my house, so I scheduled an in-person visit. First, I wanted to meet the puppy in person, but also meet the breeder, Willard. I wanted to also see how the puppies were being raised. Such a great experience. These puppies are raised as family members, which is hugely important. Also, the breeder has been breeding Boston Terriers for over 30 years! They definitely know everything about the breed. I was able to see both parents of my puppy and all the siblings. Very easy process with Good Dog. I was able to make the deposit online and then when my puppy was ready to be picked up, I was able to make final payment, then forwarded the executed contract. Super easy. When I picked Gabby up, Willard had her vet records, food and a blanket for me to take home. Overall an excellent experience. I would highly recommend Willard and Knucklez Kids to anyone.     Willard went above and beyond with our entire process getting Dj! He had a very informative profile and was always keeping me updated with pictures, videos, & daily activities through Good Boy. He gives them exposure to children/adults, other animals, potty training, positive eating habits, and everything else needed! Dj has adjusted so much faster than expected and I can tell how much time, effort, and kindness he puts into caring for his animals! He has an extensive health evaluation done and a very informative discussion about anything someone would need to know before adopting a Boston Terrier. He was always easy to communicate with/get a hold of. I’ve been sending him updates just like he did with me and I’m so happy I ended up finding such a safe, professional, and caring route for bringing our new puppy home.
