I'm Carmen H., the breeder behind Kokomo Kennels located in Marion, IL. We enjoy showing our dogs, & they are our companions in every adventure. We do all we can to give our dogs & pups the best lives. We are responsible breeders who are passionate about our dogs. They’re central to our lives, and we are proud of their accomplishments. We enjoy participating in conformation events and staying involved in the breed.

Carmen has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Carmen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

"Puppies come with AKC registration, a contract, First vaccinations,puppy pack, blankets from Mom,collars,leashes and a Small bag of food, I ask a 800$ non refundable deposit , puppies start at 2000$."

About Nova
Nova is a female Collie over 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Carmen decided to make her part of their program. Carmen has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
