I'm the breeder behind Lil Pawsome Puppies, LLC located in Burlington, NC. All of our puppies are loving family members who are playful, affectionate, and joyful. We love each and every dog and pup! We are home-based breeders of Yorkies, Toy Poodles, and Malteses. All of our puppies are treated and loved as family members to produce happy pets.

Why did you start breeding?
When my 11-year-old Yorkie, Nichols, passed from kidney failure and lung cancer, I lost more than just a pet—I lost the joy and unconditional love he brought into my life. His bond was life-changing, and after realizing how profound that connection was, I became a dog breeder to help others experience the same love and happiness that only a dog can bring.What makes your program special?
I am committed to meeting the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive exactly what they are looking for in a companion. My dogs are registered with the AKC or CKC, adhering to strict breed standards to guarantee quality, health, and temperament. I prioritize both the integrity of the breed and the satisfaction of the families welcoming these dogs into their homes.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Maltese puppies are white. Poodle puppies are red. Yorkshire Terrier puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Tara
Tara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“This price includes AKC registration (if applicable), first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy.”
Contract & health guarantee
Tara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
