Meet the breeder

I'm Tammy D., the breeder behind Limited Edition located in Freeland, MI. Puppies are raised in our home following Puppy Culture. The parents are AKC champions and we health test per American Boxer Club guidelines. After 29 years of owning Boxers, I’ve bred my first litter. I show in AKC conformation and compete in Agility. Puppies were whelped in our home. Taken outside multiple times per day weather permitting.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve owned Boxers for 29 years and finally decided to breed my first litter in 2022. Dam of litter is an AKC champion and fully health tested per American Boxer Club guidelines.
  • What makes your program special?

    This is the first litter I have bred. I’m trying give the puppies a good start in life. I’m home full time with the puppies. Following the Puppy Culture program. I’m keeping one for my future show and agility dog and all puppies are receiving the same individualized attention.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Good level

Limited Edition reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boxers.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
