Meet the breeder

I'm Sara L., the breeder behind L&L Euro Boxers and Small Town Shih Tzus located in Abilene, TX. I live on the end of an old dirt road in the middle of nowhere and we love it! I have 4 kids and 6 boxers , 3 Shih Tzus at the moment and that number could go up soon (Boxers not kids 🤣). We love our big family and I'm finally been living the dream of breeding family dogs and we love seeing them prosper in their new homes! ❤️ Breeder, Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, Child of God.

Q. & A. with Sara

  • Why did you start breeding?

It's been a dream of mine since I was very little. I've always loved dogs of all kinds and when I got my first dog I fell in love! Breeding is very hard and you have to be committed 100%. It's taken me a long time to get to where I am and wouldn't change one thing. Boxers and Shih Tzus are opposites and wonderful in every single way
  • What makes your program special?

All my dogs are in my home and treated as family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Boxer puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Shih Tzu puppies include cream and white, chocolate and tan, chocolate, black and tan, black, liver, gold, gold and white, liver and white, black white and silver, and black gold and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Sara was very wonderful and made the process of getting a new family member very easy! Very communicative, sends pictures when you ask for them, is very informative and detailed, as well as open to communication everyday in case you have questions. I absolutely love my new fur baby and can’t wait to make life long memories!

Sara was great to work with when looking for our new boxer puppy after losing our old faithful boxer. Sara made sure Walter had playtime with his puppy siblings as well as human time and sent videos and closeup pictures. When we met to see if Walter was right for us, Sara had bathed him, clipped nails, and brought a lovey blanket along with his previous newborn puppy vet visit paperwork. Walter is very healthy and strong. The vet staff even refer to him as “stunning”😊 - so he has some good genes at work! We have enjoyed Walter every step during his first year and are thankful to Sara for providing us another boxer to love a lifetime!

Sara has been great to work w/. She has been very responsive and provided many pics and videos of the boxer puppy (Mille) before we picked her up. Millie has been more than we could have hoped for. She is beyond awesome - she is beautiful, fun, silly, loving, etc. She is the 3rd boxer for our family. She replaced another boxer we recently lost (which was heart breaking for our entire family). Millie has done so much in a short time to make a family complete again. We feel very fortunate to have her.
