Meet the breeder

I'm Madeline P., the breeder behind Maddie’s Border Collies located in Annona, TX. I’m located in North East Texas. I breed dogs for health and temperament. They are all registered with the ABCA. They are all genetically tested to make sure our puppies are healthy. They are all raised with social interaction with adults, children and other dogs.

Q. & A. with Madeline

  • Why did you start breeding?

My spouse and I are breeding these Border Collies together. She has bred several different breeds over the years including Frenchie's and Golden Retrievers.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs are loved and treated as part of the family! We handle the pups starting day one. My spouse is a veterinarian, so our babies really do receive the very best care and attention. They are raised on our ranch, so they are exposed to other dogs, sheep and goats. They have plenty of land to run around and explore on.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Madeline was great to work with. She helped us decide which puppy would be the right fit for our family and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Deets has adjusted amazingly to our family and can tell he has a lot of the characteristics of the Border Collies that we love.
