I'm MARCIA E G., the breeder behind Marcia Garstin's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels located in Estill Springs, TN. I strive to produce pups that will excel in whatever is asked of them- whether that is a nice companion, a certified therapy dog, an agility dog, conformation show dog , obedience, rally, etc. Pups are well socialized and live in my home.
Q. & A. with MARCIA E
Why did you start breeding?
I have been in the Veterinary World since 1978. i was breeding Dobermans when a technician approached me and said " you need to get into cavaliers'. My Masters Degree is in Animal Genetics from The Ohio State University. I take pride that my breeding dogs are screened by cardiologists, and ophthalmologists. there are other tests that are performed, i want only the best and to make the breed better.
What makes your program special?
I am a show handler in conformation, a teammate in agility, a therapy dog handler of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I take pride in raising puppies who can excel in work, show, or as beloved companions. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
Puppy prices include between $4,500 - $4,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“the price is dependent on stud fee paid, veterinary cost incurred, the number of resulting puppies...I pay to register each pup with AKC and the Cavalier USA Club. i do not take deposits, i try to place the right pup with the right home. If I am asked to fly to your area with the puppy I can do that. Please realize though that I am outputting cost of the airfare so in that case I would ask for a 500$ deposit. if you accept the puppy then that money is applied to the purchase price. the next question- do i have a waitlist- yes for tricolors. I only have blenheims at the moment.”

About Phoenix
Phoenix is the product of many years of lineage work from my Mentor who passed away last year, Marlene Anderson. Phoenix is always up for a ball throwing and will bring the ball back. Always a mischievious smile on his face though he is a very good dog. Phoenix was awarded AKC Star Puppy when he was young, and was nominated Puppy of the Year back in 2022. Unfortunately my Mom passed away around the time the finals were going to be held, so I could not attend the final show. Cavalier USA club very nicely sent us a commentative ribbon and certificate.
