I'm Buffy M., the breeder behind Mc Doodles of Texas LLC located in Georgetown, TX. We offer well-tempered, health-tested family companions with foundations that nurture curiosity, drive, and obedience. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of our family. We are committed to raising well-rounded puppies by exposing them to various sights, sounds, and experiences from an early age. This early socialization is key to developing well-adjusted dogs, preparing them for life in their forever homes. Our focus on temperament and behavior ensures that our puppies have calm, friendly, and adaptable personalities. Most of our mamas live in Guardian Homes, enjoying their best lives as cherished family pets. This setup allows them to receive the individual attention and love they deserve while also helping us maintain a high standard of care and genetic diversity. We use tested and proven outside quality studs to complement our program, offering the best genetic diversity and healthiest puppies possible. Health and temperament are our top priorities. We conduct thorough health testing on all our breeding dogs to ensure they are free from genetic disorders and health issues. By prioritizing health and genetic diversity, we strive to produce puppies that will live long, happy, and healthy lives with their new families. Our puppies are more than just pets—they are family members. We focus on creating a strong foundation for each puppy, ensuring they are well-prepared to thrive in their new homes.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Our journey into breeding began with a search for a service dog, leading us to breed with purpose. At McDoodles of Texas, we focus on raising well-bred companion dogs like Cavapoos and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. My lifelong passion for animals—from rescuing strays to raising many kinds of animals—has shaped our commitment to exceptional care for each puppy and the families who welcome them home.

  • What makes your program special?

    At McDoodles of Texas, we raise a limited number of litters in our home, treating each puppy as family. We follow Puppy Culture and Empowered Breeder programs with early litter box, dog door, and crate training. Our breeding dogs are genetically tested to support healthy puppies, and we take great pride in our program. We’d love to connect with you!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include merle, sable, tri-color, brown, black and white, black and tan, and apricot. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are blenheim. Aussiedoodle puppies include apricot, blue merle, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Buffy

Buffy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Buffy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We match puppies using a Master Reservation List. Once puppies are at least one week old, we begin working down the list to match families by gender and color. For some litters, we wait until puppies are around six weeks old so we can factor in temperament testing, allowing us to thoughtfully match each family with the puppy that best fits their lifestyle.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,350 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a 1-year health guarantee, age appropriate vaccinations, vet check, microchip, and a puppy care package including a snuggle puppy and blanket. All of our puppies are the same price regardless gender or size. Our $500 non-refundable deposit secures your spot on our Master Reservation List for future litters and for litters that have arrived it secures your puppy selection. Deposits will be applied to the final purchase price.”

Buffy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We are so pleased with our experience with McDoodles. Our puppy has been home with us for a week now, and the first week exceeded my expectations. Buffy was very responsive while we waited for pickup day to arrive. She provided lots of great learning materials and pictures of our puppy while she was growing. Buffy really delivered on her promise to have the puppy ready for the transition to our home! Our puppy has been comfortable in her crate and dog pen from day one home with us. The puppy also has been doing amazing on going potty outside. Buffy gave us great advice on how to introduce the puppy to her potty spot as soon as we got home. Our puppy is such a love bug already.     Buffy and McDoodles of Texas were amazing to work with! I would recommend her to everyone looking for a sweet Cavapoo companion! Her responsiveness and communication was top notch.     I first met Buffy on the square in our town while she had puppies out to socialize them. I fell in love with the Cavapoo breed on the spot. Buffy talked with me that day explaining their process of training, socializing and caring for the puppies to prep them for their forever homes. Everything was gentle and so thorough. The puppies come home with you around 9-10 weeks old. They have been exposed to crate training, potty training, car rides, socialization and vet visits. I was so impressed with her and the process I knew I had to have one of her pups for our next family member. I applied, had a phone call with Buffy and we were accepted. Now the hard part, the wait. She was so good about sending out photos on social media that we felt we knew him before we met him. We happen to live in the same town so the weekend before Kenny came home he was on the square for socialization. Buffy invited us to come meet him and we did. I had no idea you could fall so deeply in love on the spot. YOU CAN. Today we brought Kenny home to join our family. He met our older dog easily and has settled right into snuggles and kisses. I HIGHLY reccomend Buffy and McDoodles of Texas as a breeder. You will not be disappointed.

    Buffy was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. It’s clear how much she truly loves each one of the puppies in her litters.     This is my only experience working with a breeder and it couldn’t have gone better! First of all Archie came to us properly socialized, crate trained and potty trained ready. He has adjusted just beautifully and is happy and at ease with us like that. We are so in love with him and he has made our family complete. I want to also say that Buffy flew with Archie from Texas to our hometown for pickup. That was a life saver as we were not in a position to get him. I would 💯 recommend Mcdoodles. We will be back 🙈😂
