Meet the breeder

I'm Denise M., the breeder behind McCracker Pond Labradors located in Chiefland, FL. The puppies in this litter are from AKC Grand Champion bloodlines and can be registered with the AKC. Sire is "Boomer," the No. 1 male Labrador Retriever in America in 2025. Dam is our sweet "Piper," CGC, is out of Chambray Labradors. Both have excellent health records and charming Labrador personalities. Both are from "dual purpose" breeders, meaning we strive to produce Labradors to breed standard that excel in the show ring and the field. Our Labs live indoors and outside in our new whelping barn with fenced activity play yard on 20 acres of horse & cow pastures and swimming pond. Pups are exposed to all sorts of noises, scents, desensitizing methods, and are socialized with adults, children, and both their mom and grandma dogs. If interested in applying to purchase one of our pups, please contact us for our application and then I will contact you.

Q. & A. with Denise

  • Why did you start breeding?

Labradors have been the No. 1 breed in America for three decades and we wanted to uphold the AKC breed standard and purpose of this wonderful dog breed. We allow our Labs to be used for their purposes as sporting dogs and we breed to produce puppies with excellent conformation and temperament for sporting and family life.
  • What makes your program special?

Our pups are ready for their new homes and families. They are used to sleeping in their crate and going outside to potty. They are handled daily to get used to their humans. They are exposed to all sorts of activities on our farm to help them become secure and allowing them to exercise their curiosity. We breed to Labs that are clear of any negative health traits; we do not breed to carriers.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
