Why did you start breeding?
Thirty-five years ago I fell in love with the breed. I have been showing and breeding Boxers ever since, I am enthusiastic about ethically sharing my love for Boxers with the world. I'm also working with a mentor to make sure I'm following breeding best practices and sticking to the breed standard. I do this to ensure families get happy, healthy puppies that will be amazing companions.What makes your program special?
Before any dog is considered for breeding they must pass all health testing. I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, good health, longevity and temperament are essential. It will be a pleasure to introduce you to your next Boxer puppy!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing
Good level
Mircoa Boxers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boxers.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
