I'm Susan B., the breeder behind Mistiblu's Boxers located in Ruther Glen, VA. We are an ethical hobby breeding program with a great amount of education and experience in breeding healthy Boxers! We have been involved with breeding for over 50 years. We strive to produce the next generation of quality show dogs with a focus on temperament and health. We are happy to tell you more about what life with a Boxer is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!

Why did you start breeding?
I breed to produce the next generation of quality show dogs. It is important to me not only that I preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for years more to come!What makes your program special?
I take responsible breeding very seriously. As a breeder, I'm a steward of the future of the Boxer, so I am careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising my puppies with proper socialization. I genuinely cherish Boxers and am committed to looking out for the breed as a whole. My love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of my breeding program!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
