Meet the breeder

I'm Noelle O., the breeder behind OR Aussies located in El Dorado Springs, MO. OR Aussies are raised on a family owned cattle ranch located in SW, MO. Our Australian Shepherds get to run and play on the ranch and they are part of our every day activities. All of our dogs are health tested and come with a 1-year genetic health guarantee.

Q. & A. with Noelle

  • Why did you start breeding?

It all started with one very special girl (Dutchess) who made us fall in love with this magnificent breed. The impact she made on our lives has given us a passion to multiply the breed so that others can experience the joy an Aussie can give you. You won’t find a more loving, loyal, intelligent, and versatile breed!
  • What makes your program special?

We always joke that our dogs don’t know they are dogs! Each and every one of them holds a special place on the Oney Ranch. Due to our smaller program, we are able to spend quality time with all of our dogs including Puppies! All of our puppies receive early neurological stimulation, are well socialized, and are mostly potty trained!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Miniature American Shepherd puppies include red tri-color, black tri, red merle, and blue merle. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Noelle

Noelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Noelle partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Once you are certain you are ready for an Australian Shepherd puppy, we would love to have you fill out our puppy application to learn a litter more about you. Puppies are a big responsibility and we want to know that buyers are prepared, committed, and have the ability to care for an Australian Shepherd. We also know that while we think Australian Shepherds are the greatest breed around, they may not be the best breed for everyone. Our goal is to help educate and assist buyers in finding them a successful lifelong companion where both dog and buyer can thrive as a team.”

Wow- I can’t believe we have already had Cowboy for two weeks! Adopting him is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. He is the perfect addition to our family, and we feel so honored to be his parents. To my amazement, he has queued to go the bathroom since day 1 and already knew the “sit” command. He has already learned a few more tricks! He warmed up to us pretty much immediately when we picked him up and has been an angel to any person or animal that he has met. The care that OR Aussies takes in raising their animals is absolutely evident in their puppies. I could not have imagined a dog as special as Cowboy. He is so smart, and I’m excited to watch him grow into a very capable companion. We are recommending OR Aussies to everyone we meet that is interested in a mini Aussie; they all want to know where to get their own Cowboy. Thank you to OR Aussies for the care you take in raising beautiful companions!

Noelle and her husband were truly a pleasure to work with! I adopted Cinch now known as Arlo Cinch Lagerman. He is absolutely the most amazing and smartest puppy I’ve ever known. And no one believed me when I said he was coming 80% potty trained but within 1-2 weeks home he was at 100%. He’s truly the best and these people take a lot of care for all their babies. I already recommend them to everyone I know and I will be back when I’m ready for Arlo to get a sister!!

I feel so fortunate that we found the perfect puppy at the right time. Noelle is the exact kind of breeder that I was searching for. Her love for the breed, her knowledge on everything with raising well rounded puppies and their well being in her home and in their new homes. Our little Burrito is exactly what we were wanting from the beginning. She is friendly, not afraid of her surroundings, and love that the potty training process had already been started. We know that now she is home, it is our responsibility to keep up the work that Noelle did amazingly at starting. Her communication was awesome from the start and loved that we got weekly updates, pictures and videos. It may be in a few years but we will be coming back to Noelle with OR Aussies for our next puppy!

We are beyond grateful for the wonderful experience we had with Noelle when we purchased Yuki, our Australian Shepherd. From start to finish, Noelle was incredibly helpful and attentive, making the entire process feel easy and welcoming. She was so easy to talk to, always responding promptly and thoughtfully to all of our questions. It was such a joy to receive the regular videos showing Yuki growing and exploring. It truly helped us feel connected even when she wasn’t with us yet. Getting to know Yuki has been an absolute delight. She has such a beautiful character, loving, gentle, and wonderfully adaptable. One of our favorite little quirks is her love for her elephant watering can in the garden; she always wants to be right there with us, joining in on everyday activities as if she’s been a part of the family forever. Yuki has adjusted so quickly and comfortably into our home. Several days a week I care for a child with autism, and Yuki immediately understands how to behave and offer support, showing a natural genuine sensitivity that feels truly special. With her gentle nature and intuitive behavior it’s clear she is cut out to be a therapy dog. We couldn’t be happier with Yuki and the care and love Noelle put into raising her. She’s not just a puppy, she’s already a cherished family member. Thank you Noelle for bringing such a wonderful companion into our lives.
