Riata’s lil’ Drover’s are now 5 weeks old! These little munchkins are starting to get pretty playful and get more livelier every day. This week they gained access to their bigger outdoor playpen and have lots of new toys to investigate. They will no longer be using their turf mat and will transition to going potty outside. This week we have also began playing them new soundtracks to get them accustomed to new sounds including thunderstorms, fireworks, doorbells, sirens, & more. Everyone is turning into quite the little love bugs and they get super excited whenever they see us close by!

Riata’s lil’ Drover’s are now 4 weeks old! This week they have just recently started playing with each other and I was able to catch a few candid videos. Their potty training is right on track and they are doing amazing with using their turf mat. This morning when they first woke up, I witnessed all 5 of them walk to their turf for a potty break! Everyone is enjoying their puppy mash and digging in at feeding times. This week the weather has been so glorious we even got to spend a little time outside soaking up the sun!

Riata’s lil’ Drover’s are 3 weeks old! They are getting more mobile and now learning to walk on all 4 legs. This week they graduated from their whelping box and have been given more room to explore. They also have some new toys to investigate, a crate for napping, and a turf mat to begin potty training. They were also introduced to puppy mash for the very first time. This week’s ENS training includes new types of brushes, listening to the radio, and exposure to new textures. This can help to build puppies confidence when being placed in new situations!

About Clementine
Sweet Clementine came to live with us in the spring of 2022, at 3 years old. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we are blessed to have her. Clemey is the biggest goofball and absolutely loves going for long walks. She is my power walking champion and will go for miles, just don’t ask her to run! Being the omega dog (lowest ranked) in our pack doesn’t slow her down one bit. She loves to play with the others and jumps right into the action. Clementine is an amazing mother and adores any and all puppies even if they are not her own. She can be quite shy with strangers but watch out if she has pups. I think she would fend off a grizzly for her babies, as any good mother would. Clementine has the biggest heart and will sit for hours snuggled on your lap getting pets. She is 21" tall and has the brightest blue eyes. She carries one copy of DM & MDR1 but she is unaffected.

About Dalley
Dalley was raised right here on Oney Ranch. She is a daughter to Riata and Wilber whom is from Rolling Ridge Mini Aussies. Dalley is super athletic and amazingly quick for her petite size. Though she is tiny, Dalley is well boned and stout. She is an exceptional frisbee player and catches it flying through the air! Dalley loves to play keep away with the big dogs. She is so agile that she outmaneuvers the rest of the pack while taunting them with a toy. Dalley is very sweet and loves attention and snuggles. Since she is lower ranking in our pack’s hierarchy, she will sit patiently for her turn to get pets. Dalley likes to going for car rides and going to town to run errands. And of course, she also enjoys riding in the mini truck checking cows and helping to do chores on the ranch! Dalley is 14" tall and around 242 lbs. She is dual registered AKC Miniature American Shepherd and ASDR Toy Australian Shepherd.

Drover is content to ride in the car for hours and enjoys traveling. He is quite the little ladies’ man and has lots of girlfriends in the Pack. He is 14" tall and weighs around 23 lbs. About Pebbles
Pebbles is extremely personable and loves to meet new people. She is a very confident girl and gets along well with others. To say she is smart is an understatement! She is such a quick learner and is very biddable. Pebbles strives to do right and loves to please. Buffalo horns are her favorite toys and she carries one around everywhere she goes. Pebbles is quite the energetic girl and her herding drive seems strong. When she first came to live with us at 11 months, she was a ball of energy. We attributed it in part to her age and her still learning some self-control. She gets better and better every day and it so rewarding to see how far she has come. Pebbles comes from a strong herding lineage and we are excited to start her on cattle this summer, 2025. For now, we are improving her training commands and growing her patience.

About Ruby
Ruby was born right here at Oney Ranch and was in one of our fist litters we ever raised. She is a daughter to Peaches. Ruby is one of the clingiest Aussies we have ever owned. She is quite partial to Ryan and is his right-hand girl. Ruby is the very definition of a Velcro dog! She will stay, glued heeled to his side no matter what. She prefers to stick by his side when moving cattle rather than working with the rest of the pack to her cattle. If instructed to, Ruby will also stay and wait for hours by herself in the back of the farm truck. She will patiently wait while Ryan leaves her to feed hay in the tractor. Above all, Ruby wants to please her leader. Ruby is not very outgoing with strangers. She does not feel the need to meet and greet new people or strange dogs. Instead, when going to new places she is content to stick by her person. Playing keep away with our pack is her favorite game. Even though she is our smallest standard Aussie, Ruby is the fastest. None of our other dogs can catch her when she runs full speed ahead. Ruby is 20" tall and has 1 blue and 1 green eye.

About Peaches
We got Peaches when she was 8 weeks old. She is by far, the most intelligent dog we have ever raised. Sometimes she is a little too smart for her own good! By the time she was 12 weeks old, not only was she potty trained, she was also proficient with all of her basic commands. Peaches is the Alfa female in our pack and has a strong protecting instinct. She is very friendly with new people but protective of her pack and her territory. She will lay and guard the fence for hours, protecting her territory from passing cattle. When the puppies play and wrestle, she will supervise and if anyone gets too rough, she puts an end to it. The pack has great respect for her and all she has to do is let out a low growl or bark and all their disputes end quickly. Peaches is 20" tall and has 2 green/gold eyes. She has a clear Aussie DNA Panel.

About Bear
We adopted Bear when he was 8 weeks old in 2022. Bear is super athletic and an awesome frisbee catcher. He is easy going and loves everyone. He is perfectly content letting his pack of beautiful girls boss him around! Bear is a total attention seeker and is known to bulldoze himself right into prime petting position. Of all the Australian Shepherds we have raised, Bear has the strongest herding instinct. No matter how many times a cow turns on him or tries to kick at him, he never backs down. He loves the water and one of his favorite summer activities is going canoeing. Sometimes we wonder if he isn’t part Labrador! If there is body of water or even just a large water bucket nearby, he’s going to go swimming. He strives to please and is extremely focused when it comes to training. Bear is the first Male dog we have ever owned. Previously, we have always favored females, but after this guy we are not so convinced. Bear has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we couldn’t ask for a more loving and loyal companion. Bear is 21" tall, brown eyes and has a Clear Aussie DNA Panel. OFA tested: Hips (Good), Elbows (Normal), and Patella's (Normal).

Noelle and her husband were truly a pleasure to work with! I adopted Cinch now known as Arlo Cinch Lagerman. He is absolutely the most amazing and smartest puppy I’ve ever known. And no one believed me when I said he was coming 80% potty trained but within 1-2 weeks home he was at 100%. He’s truly the best and these people take a lot of care for all their babies. I already recommend them to everyone I know and I will be back when I’m ready for Arlo to get a sister!!

We are beyond grateful for the wonderful experience we had with Noelle when we purchased Yuki, our Australian Shepherd. From start to finish, Noelle was incredibly helpful and attentive, making the entire process feel easy and welcoming. She was so easy to talk to, always responding promptly and thoughtfully to all of our questions. It was such a joy to receive the regular videos showing Yuki growing and exploring. It truly helped us feel connected even when she wasn’t with us yet. Getting to know Yuki has been an absolute delight. She has such a beautiful character, loving, gentle, and wonderfully adaptable. One of our favorite little quirks is her love for her elephant watering can in the garden; she always wants to be right there with us, joining in on everyday activities as if she’s been a part of the family forever. Yuki has adjusted so quickly and comfortably into our home. Several days a week I care for a child with autism, and Yuki immediately understands how to behave and offer support, showing a natural genuine sensitivity that feels truly special. With her gentle nature and intuitive behavior it’s clear she is cut out to be a therapy dog. We couldn’t be happier with Yuki and the care and love Noelle put into raising her. She’s not just a puppy, she’s already a cherished family member. Thank you Noelle for bringing such a wonderful companion into our lives.

Noelle did an incredible job getting us prepared for our new puppy! She sent regular pictures, videos and updates while we waiting to take her home. We have a 3 year old Aussie named Chips, and we thought it fitting to name this little girl Salsa! She is settling in wonderfully with Chips, and tonight was the first night he let her get some sleep snuggles with him! Thank you Noelle!
