I'm Shelby J., the breeder behind OverTime Cattle Dogs located in Iowa. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our dogs both have working drive and conformation fit for the show ring! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions or competition partners! The loyal and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

Getting a puppy from Shelby

Shelby has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shelby partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit. The remaining $1,750 - $3,250 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“The price at 2000 includes AKC limited registration, eligible for companion or AKC performance shows, health certificate, first vaccination microchip and puppy package. puppy will need to be spayed/neutered by 2 years old. The price at 3500 includes AKC Full Registration eligibility for AKC performance and confirmation shows/ breeding rights, health certificate, first vaccinations, microchip and puppy package.”

Shelby may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
