I'm Susan J., the breeder behind Paradise Ranch Boxers located in Overbrook, KS. Aspiring to improve the breed with every litter by blending the best bloodlines from Europe and the US to create the perfect Boxer. Emphasis on Health, Temperament, Conformation, Brains, and Beauty. We have puppies in most of the states in the US and have several who serve as either Service, Therapy, Support or Search and Rescue animals. Lifetime breeder support follows every puppy born here. We offer Health Guarantees, Health Tested Parents, Microchipping, and Temperament Evaluations to ensure a good fit for your family and lifestyle. Add good looks, incredible intelligence, awesome laid back well-mannered temperaments and amazing color variations to the picture and its hard to go wrong. 14 years experience breeding Boxers, with a prior 15 years in Animal Rescue, and 12 years as a Vet tech along with tons of hours spent researching the Health, Wellness, Nutrition and Genetic components of raising the Healthiest Boxer possible have contributed to a successful program backed by very happy customers with rave reviews. Our Boxers are our pets and live inside as part of the family. We raise most of our own breeding stock to insure a consistent outcome in Health and Temperament. Our Boxers enjoy life on 50 secluded acres. Extra emphasis on a correct start to life via Proper Nutrition, Immune System Health, Physical and Psychological Health that begins in the womb and continues through the moment of birth, nursing, weaning and beginning training and socialization techniques have helped to ensure the many happy success stories of our constantly growing "Boxer" family!   • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for animals and search for a child-friendly breed to have around our 14 grandchildren led me to the Boxer breed. My eye and passion for a correctly bred, quality dog led me to aspire to better the breed through health and temperament testing and good breeding decisions that include importing stock to diversify bloodlines and improve Health and temperament.

Emphasis on Health, Temperament, Conformation, Brains, and Beauty. We place puppies all over the US and have several who serve as Service, Therapy and Search and Rescue. We raise our own breeding stock to insure a consistent outcome in Health and Temperament.

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices are pet only, full registration considered on approval basis for an additional fee. Deposit of $100 for the waiting list then $250 once you choose a pup. Balance in cash on pickup.”

Susan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Brucellosis

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Profile, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC), Dilated Cardiomyopathy 1 (DCM1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
