Meet the breeder

I'm Renee A., the breeder behind Peak Performance Labradors located in Chaumont, NY. We have a breeding program to produce quality Labradors whether its for a family companion or hunting partner. We are professional dog trainers for Waterfowl Hunting and Competition as well.

Q. & A. with Renee

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family's passion to produce quality hunting labradors and family companions began in the 1960s with my grandparents. I grew up breeding, raising, and training Labradors with my Mom Tammy and it is a true passion. We only breed dogs that we feel are worthy. Health, Temperament, Trainability, and Intelligence are the priority and we aim to better the breed as a whole.
  • What makes your program special?

We are not solely breeders, we are primarily dog trainers and breed dogs to produce healthy, trainable, and intelligent dogs that are willing to please us. Whether the dog will be a hunting dog or just an active family companion it is important that the dog has a wonderful temperament and willingness to work with us.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
