I'm Cher S., the breeder behind Piney River Cattle Dogs located in Ammon, ID. We aim to produce dogs that have excellent temperaments, great conformation and the ability to succeed in every aspect of life. Our dogs are family first and foremost. They sleep with us at night and work with us all day. Our puppies are raised inside and socialized, loved and handled from birth!

Cher has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cher partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes registration (if applicable), all age appropriate shots and wormings, certified vet check, baggie of food and collar. Our waitlist is first come first serve. When puppies arrive we notify all those on our waitlist for selection. We do not accept deposits prior to pups being chosen to ensure all are satisfied.”

Cher may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Kimber
Kimber is my one in a million kind of dog. She is a great mother, babysitter, worker, and protector. I've owned several heelers and I have never seen the devotion she has for my kids in any other one. Even after having puppies she will wear herself thin tending to both her babies and her other "babies". But that is just one side of her.. she is not one to ever back down. Which not only makes her one heck of a worker, but I can trust that my kids can be out somewhere and NO ONE would be able to harm them. She has never offered to bite or physically hurt someone, but if you were to try and hurt one of her kids I feel that would be another story. Within the home she is as calm as can be. Ready to go and do whenever, but knows the difference between rowdy time and calm time. The best part is she has passed this onto every single one of her pups.

+5I absolutely loved working with Cher and Piney River Cattle Dogs. She updated me constantly and I felt like I knew my doggo before he came home. She hadn’t done an out of state transfer via a transport company, and I found a company and she arranged everything. She literally took all of the guessing and anxiety out of purchasing a dog multiple states away. Paxil, my puppy, has settled into life with us. He has an amazing temperament and is a beaut. I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder to work with would definitely consider getting another dog from here.
