In one word, Jessica, was simply AMAZING to work with. I lived several hours away from her. She was very careful to vet me fully, intent on finding her puppy a good and healthy home. She explained many of the different traits of the Blue Heeler breed, making sure that I understood what I was getting into. She worked with me and stayed in contact with me all the way up to the point of pick up. At pickup, she had me meet the mom. She supplied a blanket with the smells of his liter mates on it, a bag of food to start off, and made sure that our interaction was good and that she felt comfortable with me. Roo is such an absolute sweetheart. I named him after kangaroos from his native country. Everybody loves him. He is a bundle of fur energy - ALWAYS on the run, chasing balls preferably. We get out for walks and he is very social with other dogs and LOVES people. On one 3 mile walk we had interactions with over 30 people. He is SUPER smart. At 7 months, he has already mastered a whole plethora of commands. He walks off leash and will drop to the ground and stay there when I utter the word, ”CAR”, only moving again, after I say, “LET’S GO”. He is also very attentive and wants to make sure that his person is OK. If we go on walks, and he is out in front, he stops and looks back every so often to make sure that I’m still following behind. Potty training was a little bit of a struggle as he was so smart and stubborn, so I had to use Kennel training to fix that, but now he sleeps with me and has had no issues being left alone in the house for short periods. He is a lover and a snuggler and can get into DogTV. Oh, and he LOVES chasing squirrels.

Jessica was an incredible breeder to work with. Good Dog made the whole process easy from finding and connecting with Jessica to getting every weekly update and making payments. Jessica truly cares about her dogs and treated all the puppies like her own. I know they got everything they needed and much more when living with her. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the breed and has had some beneficial advice even as I’ve brought Otis home. She’s truly committed to making your experience wonderful and that you bring a beautiful, well-cared for puppy home for you to take over and make a member of your family! I love Otis so much and have truly enjoyed every step of this journey!

Working with Jessica was an excellent experience! She was a great communicator and invited us to come visit our puppy multiple times in the lead up to getting him. She was a warm host and patient with our questions. We would highly recommend her!!!
