Meet the breeder

I'm Dawn K., the breeder behind Pom Pom Pomskies and Pomeranians-TN located in New Tazewell, TN. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. Our adults live in our home ( not outside) and only go outside to play or go potty. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

Q. & A. with Dawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up in the country you get hands-on experience with a lot of different animals. Our family decided to start breeding dogs because we saw a need for good quality puppies. it’s really hard to find a healthy well socialized puppy. We wanted to be able to provide that for people. We believe in providing a wonderful home for both our breeding dogs and our puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are all genetically tested before breeding, but first and foremost, live the luxury of a pet life. We feel it is important for our dogs to first and foremost be our pets, take walks, run off leash our backyard, and enjoy snuggles by the fireplace with our children. With your future puppy, we take the time to expose them to various things like an automatic vacuum, other animals, children, kennel training, various surfaces, loud noises, etc.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Pomsky puppies include toy, mini, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pomsky puppies include wolf sable, silver and white, gray and white, blue, white, black and white, chocolate, and merle. Pomeranian puppies include orange sable, blue merle, and chocolate and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
