I'm Christine F., the breeder behind Puppy Love Palace at HB Farm located in Silver Springs, FL. The Puppy Palace is a 320-sq-foot "puppy infirmary" dedicated to keeping the pups in a clean and safe environment as they wean and learn social skills; this means we get to play with them every day!

Why did you start breeding?
I am a nurse who should have become a veterinarian because I LOVE dogs. I have owned dogs all of my adult life and for many years have wanted to breed them, on a small scale, I guess because I think so many other people need to give and receive the love of a special dog.What makes your program special?
We aren't so special, but we do care very much about the health and safety of our animals, especially our dams. We will breed each dam only once per year, and for a maximum of 3-4 litters. We also will allow our buyers to visit their pups by appointment during the weaning and socializing stages, should they desire. Careful isolation precautions will be required for this. We will also not allow our pups to go to their forever homes until a minimum of 8 weeks of age; the Yorkies, depending on size, may not be able to go to their forever homes until week 10.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Maltipoo puppies include cafe au lait and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
“The price includes a health certificate, deworming, CKC registration application, and a puppy starter kit (food, first toy, blanket, and information about the breed). Typically, if we reserve a pup for you and receive a signed application with the deposit, it is not refundable. We consider serious life events however.”

Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
