I'm Jennifer P., the breeder behind RayJen Cajun Boxers located in Gainesville, GA. RayJen Cajun Boxers breeds health tested dogs from champion bloodlines. All of our dogs live with us in our home and all puppies are hand raised in our living room. Puppies are from health tested, champion parents and are socialized from birth with other dogs, cats and children.

Why did you start breeding?
I was in dog sports many years ago, but began in conformation in 2023. I knew I wanted to begin preservation breeding so I found a great male and then found a perfect match for my first litter. Although my future litters will likely include outside dams and sires, I wanted to start with my family dogs.What makes your program special?
We provide hands on, in home, socialization with all of our pets. This includes exposure to children, other dogs, cats and chickens. We also will ensure that all dogs learn to swim before being placed.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Jennifer
Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Jennifer partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“We will first determine if any puppies are appropriate for conformation are as part of our family. Once that determination is completed, then puppies will be placed based a combination of the sex and color each home is hoping for and the personality of the puppy that will fit with each home.”
Price
“Pet placements are $2,500; Show homes are $3,000 and by approval. Deposits are non-refundable unless the preferred sex is not available.”

Dutton is the sweetest and most loving boy I have ever had. He loves children and wishes to be by my side as much as possible. Dutton is health tested and is a titled Champion with the AKC. He comes from an amazing and extensive pedigree, but is first and foremost a house pet. If you come to meet a puppy, you will be able to meet Dutton as well.

Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
