Why did you start breeding?
Over time, I became more involved in learning about pedigrees, health testing, structure, and temperament evaluation. I wanted to create a program focused on producing healthy, stable, and versatile Breeding became more than just producing puppies it became about improving the breed, supporting owners, and ensuring every dog produced has the best possible foundation for a successful life.What makes your program special?
My focus is never just producing puppies — it’s preserving and improving the Boxer breed through health, temperament, structure, and purpose. Every breeding decision is made carefully with the goal of producing stable, functional Boxers that can succeed as family companions, working dogs, and performance dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Kala
Kala has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Kala partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“Puppy placement is based on temperament, structure, and overall compatibility with each home. The goal is to ensure that every puppy is placed in an environment where it will thrive in the long term. All puppies are evaluated using a combination of daily observation and structured assessments (including elements of the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test). These evaluations help determine each puppy’s personality, confidence level, energy, and suitability for different types of homes. While buyers may share preferences (such as color, gender, or general temperament), the breeder makes the final placement decision to prioritize the best match for both the puppy and the home.”

She was selected for her overall balance, structure, temperament, and soundness. She has a confident, stable temperament and a natural attentiveness that makes her well-suited for both active family homes and more structured environments.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
