I'm Diana C., the breeder behind Risa’s Goldens located in Paola, KS. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

Diana has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Diana partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We take great care to place the right puppy with you. Selection takes place when the pups are around 7-8 weeks."

"The price includes a 2-year guarantee for genetic health issues, AKC application, first health check up and vaccination, dewormings, socialization with adults and children, and crate training. A $500 deposit will reserve a puppy for you. Puppies are selected in the order we receive the deposits. If, for some reason, we do not have a puppy for you, we will gladly refund your deposit or place it toward a puppy from a future litter."
Diana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Tommy
Tommy is the sweetest boy ever! His calm, gentle nature sets him apart from the rest. He is a beautiful guy and has produced healthy and absolutely fabulous puppies with great dispositions. Tommy has OFA good hips, normal elbows, normal cardiac and eye clearances. He is also ICT clear and Pra clear with a show-stopper pedigree of European champions.

Sassy is a stunning English Cream Golden Retriever who consistently produces "show-stopper" puppies. Her offspring are best known for their large, blocky heads and beautiful, soulful eyes. A dedicated and nurturing mother, Sassy is OFA health-cleared and genetically tested. She is fully health-tested with all her OFA clearances and is clear of genetic diseases, ensuring her puppies have the healthiest start possible.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type 1, PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
