I'm Chelsea M., the breeder behind Rockin M Kennel located in George West, TX. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. We are determined to better the breed and bring our families healthy hunting and family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and cannot imagine life without their unconditional love and companionship. I grew up with Labs and Dachshunds and love their loyal, smart, and eager to please personalities. I always knew I wanted to raise puppies and bring that same happiness they brought me into other families. Our family loves the outdoors and spending time with our dogs every day.What makes your program special?
All of our dogs are extensively, genetically health-tested through Embark Vet to ensure our dogs are clear of genetic diseases and we never produce an affected puppy. Our Retrievers have been OFA certified for hips and elbows. We carefully select our dogs to enhance our breeding program and produce successful offspring. We hold our dogs to a very high standard and wish you do the same.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies include fawn (isabella) and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Chelsea
Chelsea has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.
“Labs: $1200-$1500 Limited AKC. Dachshunds: $1800-$2500 Limited AKC. Full AKC available upon request and approval for an additional $300. Deposits are non-refundable. They can be transferred to another puppy in the litter or another future litter. Lab Deposits will ONLY be refunded if Desired sex/color of puppy is not born.”

Chelsea may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Rue has a stacked pedigree with several FC AFC titled dogs including FC HRCH Black Ice’s Carbon Copy of Ammo Mud Bud “Buddy” MH/QA2 who went 8 series in the 2019 National Open.

+8Working with Chelsea owner of Rockin M Kennel was one of the best decisions and experiences I ever have had. She kept my mind at easy and also answered all my questions and concerns no matter how small or big without any hesitation. She sent me pictures and updates of my Marlie who is now 6 months old and I’ve now had for 4 months which was amazing. I love how she knew her puppies. I also have to brag on how she potty trains I could tell the time well spent because dachshund’s are not the easiest to potty train and stubborn but at 6 weeks old Marlie was so well potty trained already I was amazed and I read on how Chelsea actually did her potty training and was amazed. Marlie has helped me in so many ways it’s unbelievable and I have Chelsea to thank In so many ways for that because going from a bad car wreck December 2024 and losing my very best friend Heidi (my 1st dachshund) she was an Isabell and she was 2 1/2 on Jan. 2, 2025 was really hard for me. But Marlie keeps me going and so busy and goes Every where with me and loves to be held and right beside me to sleep with all her millions of toys, loves her car rides and drives throughs for her treats or pup cups. I could go on forever about Chelsea and Marlie I’m just so thankful and grateful and blessed for both. Thank you Chelsea and Rockin M Kennel for such a wonderful blessing.
