I'm Michelle U., the breeder behind Rorschach Boxers located in Seward, NE. Our program is small and intended for ourselves first. We breed to create our next generation of Boxers to build on. We will occasionally have puppies available for pet and/or performance/working homes.
My babies are extensively socialized before they go home. They are potty trained on grass pads, raised naturally, and live in our living room with our family.
I use Puppy Culture and ENS as a guide for their social emotional development. My program is intentional with daily activities to build confidence and ensure that the best genetic potential is unlocked.
Every baby goes home with a puppy pack, AKC prepaid registration and an AKC Reunite microchip that is prepaid lifetime registered.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
Preserving all aspects of the breed standard is important to me -particularly health & functionality.
I have been raising babies from my foster animals occasionally over the years while developing my current Boxers. I am choosy about which dogs I breed. I am a strong advocate for breeding to preserve and protect the breeds. My goal is to create the perfect Boxer, someone’s beloved Heart Dog.
What makes your program special?
I put a lot of focus on breed appropriate temperament, epigenetics, and the social emotional development of my puppies. Our whole family pours love into them. They are raised as family members inside our home.
I do extensive pedigree research into the background of every dog I breed.
All of my dogs are sold on contract. I will take back any dog at any time & offer lifetime support for you.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Phoenix and Megan are on a pregnancy journey to bring in the new year of 2026. This litter is so very special to me. It will have my GrandPuppy in it! My oldest daughter is bringing home her first dog from this litter. We chose this pair for their family dog temperament specifically as a priority. There are a lot of Heart Dogs in these pedigrees. We are beyond excited!

Noise socialization is a vital part of puppy raising. Noises (and smells, sights, textures) need to be introduced when puppies are small so that they socialize to them and understand them as a part of their normal safe environment.
From the whelping box, these guys hear a wide range of sounds from fireworks, storms, animals, machinery to tools. It’s important that your puppy grows into a confident Boxer.
They will also smell, see and feel many novel things before they leave here.
This is a video clip of the babies listening to some fireworks while they have dinner.

Babies are two weeks old! They’re starting to walk under all four feet now, eyes are open, and they are showing a lot more of their individual personalities. Out of nine babies, two boys are available. They are opposite temperaments! One of them (Fyodor) is very laid back and cuddly. The other guy (Strelka) is a strong willed, active baby who might be a perfect fit for someone who wants to do dog sports with their Boxer.

Megan has her own private suite at this point and she’s loving it! This is where she will birth and raise her babies for the first few weeks of their lives. Making this whelping box her own private peaceful happy place has been priority so that she feels totally comfortable with her babies here. All of her supplies (and me!) will be within arms reach for her. At this point we have about 2 weeks left in her pregnancy.

Michelle is such a delight ! She has brought us so much happiness and joy with our new pup! I could tell right away that our little Bowen was given top notch care and LOVE from day one. Michelle takes this very seriously and she really starts socializing the pups right away. Bowen is not afraid of different noises, people or normal surroundings. He has been a breeze to house train. He is 10 weeks old and sits, shakes, goes to his "spot" to sit, goes to the door when he has to potty, goes to bed at 10pm until 6am. He's an excellent traveler, walks on the leash and LOVES people and our old boxer. He's absolutely gorgeous and fits right into our family! I hope to get another pup from her in the next few years! Excellent experience and HIGHLY recommend!!!!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
