I'm Sarah M., the breeder behind Rottweiler vom Lauffeuer located in Eaton, CO. We health test parents with the suggested OFA requirements, as well as many other tests. Our dogs are shown in conformation, working trails, and are family pets. We raise our puppies with puppy culture and in our house with my young daughter. We offer a 2 year health guarantee.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
My first rottweiler was my heart dog 15 years ago. There is no other breed for me. After she was lost in a tragic accident I decided to get into breeding and showing these amazing dogs. I have been breeding rabbits for show for over 25 years, so animal husbandry and showmanship is not a new venture for me. The first rottweiler I got after the loss of my heart dog was imported from Germany.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are all titled in some way, working or show or both. Our stock, and semen is imported from Germany with unique uncommon pedigrees. We implement puppy culture with all of our litters. Our puppies go home with basics started in obedience and a strong start in crate and potty training. At 7 weeks old we have a professional temperament test our puppies for better matching correct homes.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
