I'm Diane J., the breeder behind Running to Stand Still (RTSS) located in Florida. We strive to produce healthy and versatile companions that abide by the Greyhound standards in structure, type, and temperament. Our ultimate goal is to produce happy and healthy canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I was involved with greyhound adoption for 17 years. I decided that if racing was going to end, I wanted to make sure that the racing greyhound lines continue. So I started breeding racing greyhounds for pets.What makes your program special?
I choose the dogs in my breeding program based on their personality. I like to breed sweet and mellow greyhound puppies. I don't train them to chase just in case they will be going to a home with cats or other small animals. My breeding program has produced amazing puppies that have brought joy to their new homes. Many of my families keep coming back to me for their new family members.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
"The price includes vaccinations up to puppy's age, health certificate, deworming, microchip. A $750 deposit is required to put a puppy on hold for you."

Diane may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. She kept me updated on pictures while she still had Shadow and since getting him ive reached out to her multiple times for advice on different things which she’s always goes above and beyond to help me with. We adopted a 6 month old Greyhound puppy from her and have fallen in love with this little girl. I could tell Diane really cares about her dogs and puppies. She kept in touch with us to make sure we were all adjusting well and provided all the necessary documents for our vet records. She even met us part way when we drove to pick our puppy up! Diane is a great person and, more importantly, raises puppies that are perfect. I just got my greyhound two days ago and besides being incredibly handsome everyone who meets him is amazed at how outgoing he is. Like any puppy that age he still needs a lot of training but thanks to Diane doing such a great job he's starting life with everything stacked in his favor. If more people rated greyhounds of this caliber there would be a lot fewer people buying other breeds.

We loved our experience with Diane and RTSS! She was very responsive to our questions and gave us great resources to refer to for raising our puppy. She sent us update pictures when we asked for them and gave our puppy a great start to his journey. She clearly loves her pups and gives them all the love they need before they go off to their new home! She was also flexible with our timeline when our transportation plans unexpectedly changed last-minute, which was a huge help to us. We always felt that we and our puppy were in good hands with Diane! Highly recommend!
