I'm Gina R., the breeder behind Saddle Creek English Labradors located in Chandler, TX. Saddle Creek Labradors is a small, family breeder of Labradors nestled in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas. Our dogs are part of our family and daily activities on our farm.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We decided to start a breeding program because of our passion producing what we believe to be the perfect family dog! We want to share our love of Labradors and are so glad to be able to provide other families and individuals with Labrador Retrievers that will bring tons of love and joy into their lives.
  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. We commit ourselves to prepare each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence! We provide lifetime support for our new Saddle Creek family members!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
