Meet the breeder

I'm Angie S., the breeder behind Sanchez Boxers located in Spring, TX. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. With focus on conformation and performance sports prospects. As well as providing loving family members to fellow boxer lovers.

Q. & A. with Angie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My husband brought home our 1st boxer in 2006. Fell in love automatically. Then we discussed how hard it was to find a boxer puppy. It still took us a few years until we began to breed and have puppies. We had to find a breeding pair.
  • What makes your program special?

We are continuously learning new things about the breed. We health test all our breeding dogs. Health screens our dogs have Thyroid, DM, ARVC, holter and echo. We raise all puppies in our livingroom.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
