I'm Emily T., the breeder behind Say When Corgi Co. located in Star City, AR. Backed by over 10 years of experience, our program focuses on health, temperament, and correct structure. Our puppies are raised in our home with early socialization to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. Raised with care, the Say When way.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My passion for dogs started early, growing up around my mom’s breeding program and cutting horses. After years of learning and owning dogs, I began breeding in 2015 with the goal of raising healthy, well-tempered dogs that make wonderful companions.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are raised in our home and handled daily from the start. We focus on health, temperament, and correct structure while raising puppies with plenty of socialization. Our program reflects the same values I grew up with, where good dogs are part of everyday life. I joke that all my babies are “kid broke” by the time they go home!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include sable, blue, and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include fawn merle, fawn and white, red merle and white, black and tan, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Emily

Emily has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Emily partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I had the most wonderful experience getting my Corgi puppy from Emily. I could tell immediately from my first conversation that I made the right decision choosing Emily because she was so knowledgeable and caring answering all my questions any worries I had were put at ease. She sent weekly photos and updates which made the process so special. Emily went above and beyond to accommodate around my work schedule to make the pickup process easier. The day of pickup Emily was on time at the airport with my new puppy and she even gave me a bag full of necessities needed for the journey home. What made me cry a little was when Emily told me she packed a blanket with the puppies mamas scent on it, I felt it in my heart in that moment Emily truly is an amazing person an amazing mom to go the extra step. Haunter is such an amazing puppy, he sleeps in his crate, he knows his name, and goes potty outside, Emily trained him so well.
