I'm Rebecca M., the breeder behind Seas The Day located in Grand Island, FL. At Seas the Day we strive to raise conformationally sound, temperament tested, and fundamentally strong puppies for service and therapy dog prospects. They are raised using a combination of scientifically backed programs including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and Puppy Culture Programs. These programs have proven to make more stable and trainable adult working dogs. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
I started Seas the Day to focus on and raise puppies that will grow up into confident working dogs whether as service dog prospects, therapy dog prospects, sporting or just really well rounded family pets.
What makes your program special?
My breeding dogs are my daily working service dogs. They live in my house and I know everything about their health, temperament, and personalities. The puppies are whelped and raised in my home and I start their densitization and early scent work at 3 days old. By 4 weeks they are comfortable going outside and sleeping in crates. I focus on building confident and healthy puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Sailor
Sailor is a versatile true working dog. Not only is he an AKC conformation Champion he is also my everyday medical alert service dog. His intelligence, trainability, willingness to please and his love to make you laugh makes him the perfect well rounded dog. He also loves agility and rally but also just goofing off and doing zoomies and playing catch in the yard. When he isn’t busy doing all of that you can find him being a very content couch potato.
Calypso, mom
Boxer
About Calypso
Calypso is also another ambassador of her breed and a true working dog. Not only is she super sweet and intelligent she is very versatile. She can go from doing zoomies and playing frisbee to wearing her harness and step up into the role of my medical alert service dog. She loves carrying around her favorite toy of the day ready to play at a moments notice or being cuddled up with you to watch TV.
