I'm Beth E., the breeder behind Shady Rill puppies located in New Holland, PA. We strive to provide you with top quality pets who will be your best friend all their lives. Our dogs are our pride and joy! We have 3 beautiful Boxers, Juno, Lexy, and Titan and Viola'.And a spayed golden retriever named Jasmine and 1 of her puppies,a boy,named Parker.Wr also have a female golden retriever named Cassia.She is still a puppy as well.Our dogs are friendly and gentle because we spend loads of time with them! Our passion is Boxers with short noses and beautiful stocky builds with calm friendly family dog personalities. All our puppies are whelped in our home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husband and I adopted a golden retriever named Jasmine when we were newlyweds. Two years later we adopted Juno. Jasmine was such an amazing dog that we decided to breed her, she produced some amazing puppies, but is now retired. We will be continuing her line, but will not be having more golden retriever puppies for at least 2 years. As a girl growing up I did not think boxers were that great, I loved the golden retriever breed as long as I can remember but boxers were foreign to me. However as any boxer owner knows, once you have a boxer you can not imagine not liking the breed and I soon loved them as much as I do the golden retriever breed! There elegant stance and their goofy nature are the best!Each litter of puppies are whelped in our home and we begin their early neurological stimulation on day 3 and continue until day 16.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Beth

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This price includes AKC limited registration, first vet examination, vaccinations, and deworming. After the puppy goes to their new home, we promise to be available for advice through each of our puppies lives. Our deposit is non-refundable but always transferable."

Beth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • DNA Profile, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Factor VIII Deficiency, Boxer Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
