I'm Lisa T., the breeder behind Silver Birch Labrador Retrievers located in Alabama. Silver Birch Labs is located in beautiful Hazel Green, Alabama, north of the Tennessee River valley and just south of the Tennessee border. Our labs have room to romp and play across the green fields that taper down toward the river. Labs were meant to retrieve, to run, and to accompany their human companions, and our Silver Birch Labs certainly are no exception! They enjoy the freedom to explore our property, to chase, fetch, and splash through the water, and never beyond our supervision. Labs are very loyal and know to watch for us, for our signal to return, and to be always vigilant, safeguarding their human companions. Labs are not meant to be cooped up in crates, and we naturally allow them to enjoy all four beautiful seasons here in the rolling hills of northern Alabama!
Q. & A. with Lisa
Why did you start breeding?
Our first Lab was given to my husband as a gift, and we can’t help but say we have fallen so deeply in love with this breed. After doing intensive research, we vowed to breed our Labs to only the healthiest of lines. We are also deeply dedicated to raising our puppies in our home to socialize and condition them so the transition to their new home is as stress-free as possible. Plus we adhere to our Veterinary’s strict standards to providing the healthiest beginning in life.
What makes your program special?
Our promise is that each of our Labrador Retriever puppies is a family pet first. That they are hand-raised and socialized in our family. We further promise that every picture, video, and discussion we have, both online, in person, through phone or text conversations are honest and accurate. We promise that we will provide you with information about the feeding, care, nutritional requirements, and health of the puppy we help you choose, as well as answer all questions as accurately as possible regarding our breeding program. We want to make sure that our buyers have all their questions answered, and we will offer suggestions and support to put your mind at ease as well.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“We do not post prices of our puppies simply because when people will see numbers and walk away. Sadly they don't take into consideration all of the work and conditioning we do on a daily basis to insure our puppies families expectations are exceeded. All of our puppies are the same price, unless the new family requests extra training or later pick up time. We do make certain exceptions for deposits to be refunded.”
